Privacy notice

Effective November 1, 2026. This notice describes RentorNah, including its public website at rentornah.com.

Anonymous to other visitors

Reviews require no name, email or account. They appear as Anonymous. Your words, apartment, rent, room type and stay dates may still identify you. Do not include details you do not want made public. We do not promise absolute anonymity or protection from valid legal process.

What is stored

We store your review, selected ratings, optional housing details, a sequential submission number, and the version of the terms you accepted. We do not store a review posting timestamp or expose review posting times or source metadata through public review APIs. Reviews with a move-in month appear first, newest move-in first; undated reviews follow in ascending submission order. You can hide your move-in month and move-out month separately. Hidden dates and hidden current-resident status are discarded before saving and are not shared publicly. A random deletion key is saved in your browser; only its hash is stored on the server. Clearing browser storage may remove your ability to delete directly. Photos and captions are stored; embedded camera and location metadata are removed.

We do not include reviewer IP addresses in reviews or disclose them to property accounts or other visitors. We use rotating keyed pseudonyms in memory for rate limiting, without writing IP addresses to the review database; application request logging is disabled. Cloudflare processes requests to protect and deliver the public website and may retain security or access information under its own policies. We use Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its partners may receive connection information, including IP address, browser details and page information, and may use cookies or similar technologies for ad delivery, measurement and personalization where permitted. This is separate from the review database; we do not send reviewer identities or private inquiries to the ad service. See Google advertising privacy information.

Property accounts

Property registration collects a work email, public team name, selected property, website and verification statement privately. Passwords are stored as salted, computationally hardened hashes. Session cookies are HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict (Secure on the public domain); only token hashes are stored server-side. Registration does not verify a claim. After manual approval, the team name and property replies are public. Property accounts do not receive reviewer IP addresses, identities, private reports or contact information. Private inquiries

Problem reports and business partnership inquiries are stored privately for review. Any email, company, contact name, website, business coverage and inquiry details you provide are not published. Business contact details are used to respond to your inquiry, not to enroll you in marketing. Support feedback can be submitted without a name or email and is saved privately. Automatic email delivery is not enabled yet. You can also email [email protected] directly. Business inquiries use direct email to [email protected]; there is no business form. Direct email includes the sender address from your email provider.

Maps

Google Maps loads only when you choose Load Google Map. Loading it shares normal connection information and the displayed locations with Google. Requesting a commute sends the apartment and campus locations, arrival time and travel mode to Google, and resolves the campus time zone. We do not request your device location or permanently save Google route results. See Google Privacy Policy and Google Maps terms.

Retention and requests

Reviews and photos remain until removed; private inquiries remain until the operator resolves or deletes them. Local backups may retain earlier copies and are not publicly served. Use Report a problem on the homepage to request access, correction or removal, identifying the relevant content without sending identity documents. RentorNah is operated from a privately managed computer through Cloudflare. For privacy questions, use the private feedback form linked from every page.
